The latest version of our shop floor data capture solution offers new features and benefits for manufacturers. 

Clever MES is a Manufacturing Execution System that helps manufacturers to collect, monitor, and analyse manufacturing data in real time on the shop floor. We are excited to announce the release of Clever MES V1.5, the newest version of our shop floor solution that brings a set of new enhancements to our customers.  

So what's new?

• Weigh Scale Integration: Clever MES V1.5 now enables you to integrate your shop floor solution to your weigh scales and can be used for capturing weigh for raw materials and finished goods. Adding weigh scale functionality with Clever MES means that your Operatives no longer need to manual key in the weight from the weigh scale, Clever MES does it for you, ensuring the information is accurate. Weigh scale integration helps manufacturers working with materials such as food or chemicals where being even 1mm out on a measurement can be disastrous especially if legalities apply where your measurements can be over but not under.
• Reversal Capabilities: errors made when posting consumption and output can now be rectified quickly and efficiently directly from the Clever MES screen ensuring that mistakes are handled and that your stock position is always correct. This functionality can be especially useful to manufacturers working under time limits who need rectification to be carried out quickly to achieve deadlines and is ideal for all industries.
• Costing Enhancements: new controls enable you to decide how Clever MES posts costs, with configuration at both Operator and Machine Centre level, providing flexibility to suit the needs of the business. Achieve greater visibility of real costs and decide how they are to be reflected in the system. 
• Container Tracking: Clever MES V1.5 now integrates with Clever Containers so that you can take advantage of Clever Container functionality within your manufacturing processes. Move your stock more efficiently, rotate and track which container you have sent what item to each customer in. 

These are just some of the key new features that Clever MES V1.5 offers and it’s just the start of a manufacturing journey that Clever Dynamics are embarking upon to deliver a class-leading solution to manufacturers that use the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.
